Track Bio

Last Season: Curran led the Army women in all but one of the events she ran and was twice named the Patriot League Runner of the Week.  Her top overall finishes were first at the Army Open, third against Cornell and second against Navy.

2008 Outlook: Curran takes on a bigger leadership role as the team captain and is one of the top returning women in the conference. A conference title is within reach and she has her sights set on an All-Regional performance.

The Book on Curran:  Curran garnered All-League honors in her first two seasons at the Academy including “Rookie of the Year” honors in 2005. A graduate of Chemlsford High in Chelmsford, Mass., Curran was a two-time conference “Runner of the Year” as well as a two-time all-state performer. She still holds the Chelmsford 2-mile record. Curran lists reading, cooking and being outside as her hobbies and lists cheese as her favorite food. Shalane Flanagan gets the nod as her favorite athlete.
