Last Season: Weidner’s top performance came at the Iona Meet of Champions, where he rounded out the Army top-five.  He was among Army’s top-12 runners and competed in post-season action.

2008 Outlook: Weidner will provide the team with strong senior leadership and deliver solid results.  He was impressive in the pre-season and is looking to put together his best season yet.

The Book on Weidner: A graduate of Wichita High School in Wichita, Kansas, Weidner was a four-sport athlete, lettering in cross country, track, baseball and hockey.  He was among the best cross country runners in Kansas, finishing fourth in the 2004 state championships.  He has excelled academically at West Point as he has been named to the Dean’s List.  In track, he posted a fifth-place finish in the steeplechase at the 2008 Patriot League Championships.
