Last Season: Catalano posted strong finishes in the Army Open (fourth) and Paul Short Invitational (10th).  He was consistently among Army’s top runners and was named to the Patriot League Academic Honor Roll.

2008 Outlook: Catalano has been named team captain for the 2008 season and will be looking to lead the Black Knights past Navy and to a Patriot League title.  He will be looking to move into the top scoring positions this year.

The Book on Catalano: A graduate of Roselle Catholic High School in Elizabeth, N.J., Catalano was a Dean’s List student and a four-year letter winner in cross country and track and field. He garnered all-conference, all-county, and all-state honors in cross country and was a member of the State Group Championship team. Catalano lists hiking and spending time at the Jersey Shore as his hobbies and lists pizza as his favorite food. Dikembe Mutombo is his favorite athlete.
