Cody Chrusciel Coordinator of Multi-Media/Broadcasting

The Army Athletic Association announced the hiring of Cody
Chrusciel for the position of Coordinator of Multi-Media and Broadcasting in August. In this role, Chrusciel will play an integral role in the execution of
the Black Knights' expanding multi-media arm, ITT Knight Vision.
Chrusciel, a
native of Wayne, N.J., native spent the last two summers as the Director of
Broadcasting for the New Jersey Jackals professional baseball team in the
Can-Am League, handling both play-by-play and media relations duties. He also
spent time working in the video services department with the Philadelphia
Phillies and the public relations and broadcasting department of the ECHL's Trenton
Devils. In addition, he served as the play-by-play broadcaster for the 2009
Division III Softball Championship for NCAA.com.
Chrusciel earned
dual bachelor's degrees in broadcast journalism and radio/television/film from
Rowan University in Glassboro, N.J., in May 2009. While at Rowan, he spent
three years as the sports director of the Rowan Television Network (RTN) and
one year as sports editor of the student newspaper, The Whit. During his time with RTN, Chrusciel delivered
play-by-play coverage of Rowan Profs' football, basketball, baseball, and
softball teams.
Chrusciel
received numerous honors for television and radio while at Rowan, including a
Telly Award and a National Headliner Award, along with the school's Jack
Gillespie Medallion Award for Excellence in Journalism.
