WEST POINT, N.Y. - The Army Athletic Association's "Coaches Caravan" will make a return trip to the popular Captain's Table Restaurant in Monroe, N.Y., on Wednesday, July 28. Selected Army head coaches as well as radio personalities will be on hand from 6 to 8 p.m. at the establishment located at 547 State Route 17M.
Interim sprint football coach
and Hall of Famer Mike McElrath, softball coach Michelle DePolo, men's tennis
coach Jim Poling and gymnastics coach Doug Van Everen as well as Robin Taylor
of 101.5 WPDH will be part of the Caravan.
The outreach program, done in conjunction with Cumulus broadcasting, the Hudson
Valley radio home for Army Athletics, is a chance for Black Knight fans to
interact with select Army coaches. Fans that attend the events can get
autographs and photos, as well as purchase football tickets for the upcoming
season.
The 2010 football slate includes promotions at all five home games. Season ticket plans begin at just $99. The Black Knights kick off the season on Sept. 4 at Eastern Michigan before opening the home schedule on Sept. 11 against Hawai'i.
