WEST POINT, N.Y. - The Army Athletic Association's "Coaches Caravan" will make a stop at the popular Captain's Table Restaurant in Monroe, N.Y., on Wednesday, July 7. Selected Army head coaches as well as radio personalities will be on hand from 6 to 8 p.m. at the establishment located at 547 State Route 17M.
Hockey coach Brian Riley,
volleyball coach Alma Kovaci and rifle coach Ron Wigger as well as Robin Taylor
of 101.5 WPDH will be part of the Caravan.
The outreach program, done in conjunction with Cumulus broadcasting, the Hudson
Valley radio home for Army Athletics, is a chance for Black Knight fans to
interact with select Army coaches. Fans that attend the events can get
autographs and photos, as well as purchase football tickets for the upcoming
season.
Future caravans include: Dutchess
Stadium in Fishkill for Hudson Valley Renegades games on July 19, July 26,
August 9 and August 23 from 5:30-8 p.m. Torches on the Hudson on the Newburgh
Waterfront on July 22 from 5-7 p.m. and again at the Captain's Table in Monroe
on July 28 from 6-8 p.m.
The 2010 football slate includes promotions at all five home games. Season ticket plans begin at just $99. The Black Knights
kick off the season on Sept. 4 at Eastern Michigan before opening the home
schedule on Sept. 11 against Hawaii.
