WEST POINT, N.Y. - The Army Athletic Association will host a spring football radio show, featuring head coach Rich Ellerson, on Thursday, March 25. The show will begin at 7 p.m.
Similar to the setup for fall football radio shows, the Thayer Hotel will again serve as at the site for the one-hour broadcast.
Ellerson will discuss the Black Knights' spring practice sessions, the annual Black-Gold Game set for Saturday, March 27 and the upcoming 2010 season.
Fans in attendance at the interactive program will have an opportunity to win prizes and ask questions of the head coach. Food and drink specials will be offered as well.
ITT Knight Vision as well as WALL 13-40-AM out of Middletown, N.Y., and WEOK 1390-AM out of Poughkeepsie, N.Y., will also carry the shows.
The Black-Gold Game will kickoff at 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 27. A mini version of Black Knights Alley will begin at 11 a.m. just inside Gate 3 of Michie Stadium.
The new Kimsey Club will be open from 11:30 a.m. until kickoff. All
season ticket holders attending the spring game are encouraged to
stop by and check out the newest amenity to Michie Stadium. Fans must
be season ticket holders to be eligible to purchase passes to the
Kimsey Club for the 2010 season.
Fans attending the Black-Gold Game will also have the opportunity to
purchase their 2010 season tickets.
The format for the annual spring contest has not been decided.
All fans will be required to sit in sections 25-28 during the game.
The majority of the stadium is being utilized for a post-game "Select
Your Seat" program for fans who are affected by the Corps of Cadets
moving to the east stands. Beginning in the fall of 2010 the United
States Corps of Cadets will be moving from sections 14-19 in Michie
Stadium to sections 25-28.
Army begins the 2010 season on Saturday, Sept. 4 at Eastern Michigan.
The Black Knights make their home debut on Sept. 11 versus Hawai'i.
