UPDATE - Monday's exhibition with the Red Bulls and post-game clinic are still on as scheduled. Barring any severe weather, all of today's events will go on as planned.
WEST POINT, N.Y. - In conjunction
with the Army men's soccer team's scrimmage against the New York Red Bulls, the both the men's and women's teams will host a free youth soccer clinic on Monday, March 29, at
Clinton Field.
Following the 1:30 p.m.
exhibition contest, there will be a free post-game autograph session with the
Black Knights and the Red Bulls, followed by a clinic with the Army men's and
women's soccer teams at 4:30 p.m.
ITT Knight Vision subscribers will also have the opportunity to watch the exhibition via the live webcast scheduled for Monday.
"Having the opportunity to give
back to the community is a very important part of our program," said Army head
coach Russell Payne. "Being able to spend an afternoon teaching and sharing the
game that we all have a common love for helps our players grow just as much as
the kids."
Youth ages 18 and under are
invited to participate in the clinic and receive free admission to the game. To
