The Army baseball team is heading back to the NCAA Regionals for the second consecutive season as the third-seeded Black Knights swept top-seeded Holy Cross to win the Patriot League Championship Series on Sunday at Fitton Field.

The Army Athletic Association held the 2013 Black Knight Awards ceremony on Sunday night at Robinson Auditorium. The department's premiere year-end event honored teams and individuals for an outstanding 2012-13 season. Women's basketball took home Team of the Year, the highest honor of the evening.
Softball - 5/18/2013
Haley Outon's leadoff home run in the top of the fifth ignited a four-run rally as Houston erased a one-run deficit, and Bailey Watts threw shutout ball to record the save in a 7-5 defeat of Army (35-26) in an elimination game at the 2013 NCAA Austin Regional Tournament hosted by Texas at McCombs Field Saturday afternoon.

Senior Alex Reynolds and sophomore Morgan Lashley were among an elite group of student athletes from around the country honored by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association with their selection to the All-Northeast Team.
